Edinburgh’s west end village is located between Haymarket and Princes and a secret treasure of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Head to William Street & Stafford Street to soak up stunning Georgian architecture & colourful stylish boutiques.

Attractions in the west end are lesser known but not to be missed. The Georgian House, located at No 7 Charlotte Square belonged to John Lamont, 18th Chief of the Clan Lamont until 1815. The house has been fully restored to how it was in the late 18th Century.

BT Murrayfield Stadium home to Scottish Rugby dominates the skyline as you look West. The stadium can seat over 67,000 people. You can also do Stadium Tours.

Nearby is also Edinburgh Zoo, a must see for those with a love of getting up close to over 1,000 rate and endangered animals. Edinburgh Zoo is also well known for its famous penguin parades.
