Let Your Property Through Destiny Scotland

Edinburgh New Town

When it comes to letting your flat to others, landlords agree that their main concern is the safety of their property. Nobody wants some idiots trashing their place and neither do we. Destiny Scotland delivers a service to ensure the landlord is comfortable at all times with their let.

  • We always take large cash deposits or valid credit card details from our tenants.
  • Destiny Scotland staff can check the flat immediately before the let takes place and immediately after to ensure the property is maintained in the same condition as part of our full management package.
  • All deposits are held in a "flat account" and no money is transferred to either party until both are satisfied that the terms of the let have been met.

As a letting agency, there are many advantages for using Destiny Scotland:

  • Our commission rate is very competitive. *Please see fees at the foot of our Terms and Conditions page.
  • Landlords can access and maintain their property adverts at all times including rate modification and blocking key dates.
  • We have many great websites in our network and other affiliates giving your property maximum exposure.
  • We have the latest technology on our website to ensure your property looks great and prospective tenants can easily find and book their desired accommodation.
  • We charge no registration fee unlike other letting agencies.
  • Our strong marketing in the US usually draws more applicants than we can provide for.
  • We are the only short term letting agency concentrating on the US market.

The Free Fringe Festival - the return of spontaniety.

Free Comedy at the Edinburgh Festival

Picture this: while wandering aimlessly down the Royal Mile you are accosted by a man in 16th century period dress pointing you towards his comedy on Sir Walter Raleigh at the underbelly, on the way you are given a leaflet to go to a silent movie atop Carlton Hill, live, and complete with a 22 peace orchestra. You couldn’t make it up.

Edinburgh weathering out the Credit Crunch

How Scotland’s Capital continues to Thrive!

The City of Edinburgh is increasingly well known for being both a financial institution and a global tourism hotspot. These industries have continued to see growth despite the ‘credit crunch’.

Edinburgh continues to be considered a key centre for financial growth and has proven to be an ideal city for a business to develop, both on the high street, with up and coming chains such as Urban Outfitters opening up alongside old favourites like Primark, and in the business sector - the headquarters of Tesco Personal Finance, attracted to the Nation’s Capital, recently relocated to Haymarket, creating two hundred jobs.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival Ticket Sales 2009

How the Fringe just keeps getting Better

During 2009 the Edinburgh Festival Fringe ticket sales hit a record high of more than 1.85m tickets sold for the event; a sales increase of 9% from the previous year. The reason for this surge in sales is because many people decided to holiday in the UK rather than going on holidays abroad due to the recession. For many 2009 was the best festival in 20 years.
